life from 1755 to 1854, spans the period from the birth of the United
States until there were 31 states. Hear the story of the early
Northwest fur trade, the building of Fort Vancouver, the establishment
of
the first government in Oregon at Champoeg as told by a man who lived it
as Astorian hunter and Fort Vancouver blacksmith & miller, soldier
