Glenn has been a member of the Northwest Chapter of OCTA since 1986, a Director for two years and Vice President for eight. As Vice President he has filled in twice in the absence of the President. With the cooperation of  many NW Chapter members, we have seen successful outings and activities. He is involved with many other historical groups, several in leadership positions.

Jim Tompkins is a sixth generation Oregon Pioneer and member of Sons and Daughters of Oregon Pioneers - qualifying seven times  He taught junior high history for 27 years, as well as computer science. He also teaches  a class at Clackamas Community college about the Oregon Trail. With NW OCTA he has been a tour guide at several conventions and is currently  editor of the chapter newsletter. He has written several books and stories about the Oregon Trail, and is an expert on the Barlow Road.

Marley is a descendant of Oregon Trail pioneer families and an armchair (and car seat) enthusiast of the natural heritage of our country and area. Marley has been a member of NW OCTa for three years. She has attended a number of meetings, outings and conventions, and was co-leader of the joint Idaho-NWOCTA tour last spring. Employed full-time at Boeing as a Planner, she looks forward to doing more for NW OCTA.

Joyce BolerjackTreasurer:  Bellevue, WA.

Joyce is a Charter member of both National OCTA and NW OCTA. Her late husband, Ralph, was the first Treasurer/Membership and Joyce has since filled the position since he resigned. Joyce's interests are Western history and the preservation of it.
